Rules & Regulations
Entries close Saturday, July 13, 2024. Fees that must accompany entry form: $20.00 per horse, (if entering youth classes only, $10.00 per horse); $10.00 per horse stall, $10 per tack stall.
Limited Stall space available, call ahead for reservations, may show out of trailer. $10.00 per stall. Stalls will be available at 12:00(noon) on Saturday, July 27, 2024.
Out of state exhibitors must also have a current negative coggins and health certificate.
May not use the same horse in Ladies and Men’s cart classes. The same horse may not be used in farm and fancy classes.
All youth drivers must be accompanied by an able adult on the seat.
a. Youth drivers must be 9-18 years old (age as of January 1, 2024).
b. Youth can be farm or fancy but will be judged and placed separately.
Enter the fairgrounds through Gate 3 on Division Road and proceed to Gate 4.
Stalls should be vacated by noon on Sunday, July 28, 2024.
The show committee reserves the right to make changes.
When making more than one entry per class, please use separate lines on entry form.
One driver per horse per class in single ground driving. One driver per team per class in team ground driving.
The Porter County Open Draft Horse Show is open to draft horses and draft mules only.
THERE ARE NO REFUNDS OF FEES.
JUDGE’S DECISION IS FINAL.
**Porter County Fair will take every precaution to properly protect exhibits and/or animals. However, we will not be liable for the safety of exhibits, animals, exhibitors, employees, or families. Nor will we be liable for losses, or damages sustained due to vandalism, theft, weather, fire, accidents, or any other cause. Exhibitors wishing to insure themselves, their belongings, or their livestock may do so at their own expense. **
