Poppy the Chicken is a special needs, cross-beaked chicken. Poppy and his human Chicken Mom, Tricia, travel the nation sharing Poppy’s story. Poppy's travels will introduce children to the beautiful world of inclusivity and show them that being different is what makes them truly exceptional.

This program will include a book reading of Poppy’s book, Perfectly Poppy, as well as a meet and greet with Poppy and his human Tricia.

Tricia is a speech-language pathologist and owns a speech therapy private practice in California's Central Valley. She is no stranger to working with special needs. In her professional life, Tricia focuses on working with children with autism, early intervention population and helping coach parents on strategies to help increase functional communication for their young children.
